The leading Central European Arts Festival opens from Monday, 18th November to Sunday, 24th November 2012
Now in its ninth edition, the Vienna Art Week 2013 opens with a preeminent programme of exhibition openings, panel discussions in museums and art institutions, gallery and studio tours, performances and alternative space projects. The motif of this year’s edition is ‘Projecting Worlds’, and it draws on topics and positions related to the role of artistic expression in reinforcing identity. It spotlights the artist as the creator of artworks and narrator of his or her own cosmos, focusing on the dialogue between the artist and the viewer.
